Anti-social behaviour |
||
We have been made aware of Anti Social Behaviour in the area specifically down Scots Lane, Seedgreen Lane and Bullshill Lane where an 02 plate Range Rover has been seen driving up and down using it as a ‘race track’. This is behaviour we will not condone there for we will be carrying out Hi-Visibility patrols, we have also been made aware of a Moped driving around these areas with 2 males on and neither wearing helmets, they have caused people to feel uneasy with their actions.
Below you can find guidance around what we want to hear from you, what we can help with and what your local council can help with. I'd also like to make you aware of Op Snap where you can send any footage of moving traffic offences, if you search West Mercia Op Snap into the internet and follow the guidance on the website, from this they will consider prosecution.
We are working hard to tackle Anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the Astley area and the information provided to us by residents can be essential in taking action to make a difference where you live. Some ASB incidents might be an issue for your local council so it may be useful to know who to contact. Here are some examples of ASB that we want to know about: Here are some examples of ASB that isn’t a police matter and your local council could be informed on: Full guidance on ASB and the different types can be found here: Antisocial behaviour | West Mercia Police Or you can find your local council here: Find your local council - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) Should you have any concerns about potential ASB, or are experiencing ASB where you live, please contact your local council or if necessary report it to us: Report antisocial behaviour | West Mercia Police In an emergency, if you or your property are at risk, or a crime is in progress call 999. If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime. Kind regards, PCSO Partridge | ||
